Falmouth University chose Collabco for delivering the student mobile app to further improve engagement with their students and provide information and access to services on the go. The new University app branded as ‘FIX -Falmouth Information Exchange’ is now available for download by Falmouth students from both the iOS App store and the Google Play store. Falmouth have implemented single sign on to their virtual learning environment, email and timetabling, and access to key information including the campus bus timetable and laundry availability, providing students with everything they need for their day.
Krish Pilicudale, Head of the university’s strategic ICT Programme is looking forward to continuing to work with Collabco. The University has already received positive feedback to the FIX Falmouth app. One third year student even wrote that he wished he could restart his course just so that he could continue to use FIX App!
Collabco is delighted with the initial feedback from the university and its students. There has been a significant uptake of the new app and we anticipate even more downloads and extensive use of the app in the months to come.
